Student Ministry Basketball

We will be very active this week learning skills in soccer, volleyball, basketball and playing some large group games including gaga ball and several other fun group games in the gym.  We are super excited to be able to go to Par-Tee Golf for some putt-putt and to Buffaloe Lanes for bowling.

We are excited to be able to create using our minds, hands and bodies in a variety of opportunities.  As we are continuing to develop this camp, we are currently excited to tell you we will be attending Klay-Station for a project and the JC Rauls Arboretum.  Other creations are in progress at this time, but promises to provide the camper with a variety of opportunities to create.

We will have a fun filled day learning a variety of basketball skills, learning about teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, discipline and honesty during our devotions and court-time.  We will have fun with scrimmages and enjoy the camaraderie of our teammates during the week.

Enthusiasm and teamwork will be part of learning the “hows” of cheering.  During this camp, we will work on many of the aspects of body control,  the precision of cheering and performing in unison with basic cheerleading.

We are so excited to be able to explore the triangle area, Raleigh and Durham during this camp!  We will be visiting sites such as the Museum of Life and Science in Durham and Falls Lake to meet with a Ranger for water safety and fishing, and just some good ol’ park hoppin’ around Raleigh.

Life is an adventure with activities going on all the time and so is camp.  From outdoor and gym games to trips to various places in the community, we will be seeking out adventures each day.
